About Fix and Flip Minnesota

Renovation Management
Built on Accountability

We're not a contracting company that drifted into project management. We built this business specifically to solve the problem that costs real estate investors and property owners the most: renovations that go sideways because no one is truly in charge.

We Manage Renovations
So You Don't Have To

At Fix & Flip Minnesota, we specialize in renovation project management for real estate agents, investors, and property owners throughout the Minneapolis metro. We understand that successful renovations require more than hiring contractors — they require planning, coordination, budgeting, and consistent oversight from someone who is accountable for the outcome.

Our team manages the entire renovation process from start to finish: property evaluations, scope development, contractor coordination, scheduling, and project management. By acting as a single point of contact, we help clients save time, avoid costly mistakes, and keep projects moving efficiently toward the finish line.

Whether you're preparing a property for sale, managing a fix-and-flip investment, or renovating an inherited home, our goal is to make the process as hands-off as possible while delivering results that maximize value.

We work exclusively with vacant properties. This isn't a limitation — it's a deliberate choice. Vacant properties allow us to maintain efficient timelines, keep our trade partners on schedule, and deliver consistent quality without the disruptions that come with occupied-home renovations. Our clients aren't paying for our learning curve on someone else's project. They're getting a team that has refined its process specifically for this type of work.

What We Believe About
Renovation Project Management

These aren't values we put on a wall. They're the operating principles that shape every decision we make on every project.

Principle 01

Clarity before construction

Every problem in a renovation can be traced back to something that wasn't clearly defined before work began. We build the scope, the budget, and the timeline before a single contractor arrives on site.

Principle 02

One throat to choke

Accountability disappears when too many people are "in charge." We act as the single point of contact for every project — the one party responsible for results. That changes everything about how a project runs.

Principle 03

Investors don't get surprises

Budget overruns and scope creep aren't inevitable — they're the result of poor planning and weak oversight. We track every dollar and every change against the approved scope. Our clients know what's happening and why.

Principle 04

Speed is a feature, not a bonus

Every day a vacant property sits unfinished is a day it's costing the owner money. We build realistic timelines and hold to them. Faster renovations mean faster closings, faster returns, and fewer holding costs.

Principle 05

Quality is about decisions, not craftsmanship alone

A renovation's outcome is determined long before a hammer swings — in the scope decisions, material selections, and trade sequencing. We focus our expertise on making those decisions well.

Principle 06

Trust is earned project by project

We don't ask clients to take us on faith. We earn trust through transparency, follow-through, and results. Every project we complete is a reference. Every client is a potential long-term partner.

How We Manage Projects

There's a reason we don't call ourselves a general contractor who also does project management. The project management is the product. Here's what that looks like in practice.

  • We evaluate before we commit

Every project starts with a thorough property walkthrough. We identify renovation needs, risks, and realistic cost ranges before any scope is agreed to. No guessing, no surprises at the first invoice.

  • We define the scope in writing

Before any contractor steps foot on site, we produce a written project scope — what's included, what's excluded, and what the budget parameters are. The scope is the contract between us and the client.

  • We manage the trades — you don't

We coordinate scheduling, sequencing, supervision, and quality checks for every subcontractor on the project. Our clients never communicate directly with a trade. That's our job, and we take it seriously.

  • We track against the plan, every week

We maintain the project schedule and budget in real time. If something needs to change, we communicate it proactively — with context, options, and a recommendation. Not a surprise invoice.

  • We don't hand off at the end

Completion means every item on the punch list is done, verified, and signed off. We walk the finished property with our clients before we consider a project closed. The finish line is the finish line.

Why vacant properties only?

This is the question we get most often. The answer is simple: occupied properties introduce variables we can't control — scheduling delays, restricted access, disruptions to trade work, and safety considerations that slow everything down.

By focusing exclusively on vacant properties, we can run efficient, predictable timelines that serve our clients' investment goals. It's not a limitation — it's what makes the rest of our process work.

We work exclusively with vacant properties.

This applies to all project types — fix-and-flip renovations, pre-sale preparations, and rental rehabs. If your property is currently occupied, we're not the right fit. If it's vacant, let's talk.
